Never heard of this war? Take a seat my friends; this war is another essential piece of the 18th century war pie that everyone in Europe wanted a slice of. It contains the return of everyone's favourite Polish pretender in Stan, some of Eugene and even a bit of Villars too. Enjoy, and please let me know what you thought!

  • Thanks domi, I only realised myself after listening to it how much info there was in the episode, I'll have to be careful about overloading listeners in future but I'm glad everyone could keep up! The issues with the German states are especially close to my heart and i can guarantee there'll be more on them as we go. Russia is an interesting story too, especially in the way it came out of its shell in the 18th century and soon involves itself in major Euro affairs; just look at Boney's encounters with them! I'm glad you're ready, cause I'm really looking forward to diving right in and putting the unique WDF stamp on the whole thing! Cheers for following BEFIT by the way!

  • Fantastic piece of history and very very complicated, you put it across very well, I found the invasion of Italy very interesting too and must look into that part of history, hope you do more on them, isnt it strange how the german states didnt unite earlier as they seemed to be constantly weak and especially being surrounded by big countries, why do you think Russia only had designs on the eastern part of Europe, do you think they had the might to take it further ? cant wait for Boney, bring it on
